What to expect

For a more in depth look into what to expect check out my blog post below.

Once you have booked your place and received your joining instructions we will arrange a zoom call to meet and talk through the session. During the zoom call we will establish a wild camping spot and discuss the route.

The first day will begin with a pack shake down. I will empty my pack with you and then re pack explaining the most efficient way to do this.

We will consider the map and begin walking our route. Throughout the day we will be asking you to navigate because learning to map read and navigate inspires confidence and motivates you to stop, and look more closely at the terrain.

Once we reach our wild camping location we will begin our evening routine. This will include setting the tents up, eating, replenishing water, administration of gear and route planning for the next day.

On day two we will follow our route and enjoy the scenery. Eventually we will make our way back to our vehicles where we will reflect on the experience and what we learned before ending the experience.
